How do I place a Listing?

Go to the LIST MY PROPERTY page and follow the instructions there.

 

How do I edit my ad and how often can I edit my Listing?

Customers can edit their ads as often as they please.

The editing process is simple. Click Here to manage your listing.

 

Rather than upload photos online, can we mail or email photos?

Don't worry if you don't have a scanner or do not feel comfortable uploading photos by yourself … DAX By Owner is flexible!  If you'd like, you can mail regular photographs to us (along with a self addresses stamped envelope) and we will scan them for you, post them to your ad and mail the photos back to you! (Please write your listing # in pencil on the back of every photograph and indicate the order in which you'd like the photos to appear on your ad.)

Can I pay for my listing by a method other than credit card or PayPal?

We encourage all of our customers to pay for their ads online via credit card because it is safe and very efficient.  However, if you are more comfortable paying by check or money order you may do so.  First, mail us your payment.  Please make check or money order payable to DAX By Owner.  Upon receipt of your check we will send you a promo code to allow you to list your property.  Checks and money orders should be mailed to the following address:

How many people will see my listing?

We let you track how many people actually view your ad! On top of our enormous traffic we distribute your listing to the biggest search names on the Internet.

 

What does the Sign Package include?

When you choose the sign package, you receive one 24" x 18" yard sign and a heavy duty metal stand upon which to place it. All of our signs will last for many years regardless of weather and wear. You will receive the sign package via UPS about five to seven days after listing your property with DAX By Owner.

 

What happens when potential buyers call regarding my property?

DAX By Owner enables you to stay in control of showings, buyer inquiries and all negotiations. Our RESOURCES page provides contact information for you to hire local professionals that can assist you with the closing process.

 

Is it necessary for me to hire an attorney in order to sell my own home?

We recommend that you retain a real estate attorney to protect your interests throughout any real estate transaction. A lawyer can evaluate any complicated offers from potential buyers, assist with drafting a Purchase and Sale Agreement, act as an escrow agent for down payments, and handle closings.  When selecting a lawyer, choose one that specializes in real estate transactions!  Our RESOURCES page provides contact information for real estate attorneys in your area that can assist you with the closing process.

 

Will my email address remain private after I place it on your site?

Yes!  We do not use customer email addresses for any reason other than to communicate details regarding payment and customer service. Also, we don't sell our customers' email addresses to direct marketers like many of our competitors.  From time to time we do email special service offers to our customers, but the email will come directly from us.

 

Can I receive a refund if I choose to cancel my listing?

Considering the amount of professional time that DAX By Owner devotes to each and every listing that posts on our site, we are unable to provide refunds. DAX By Owner intends for all sellers to encounter a professional and friendly experience in the listing process. We go to extra lengths to ensure that all of our clients are completely satisfied with our services. We are a company based on customer satisfaction and that will always be our number one priority.

 

What is FSBO?

FSBO is shorthand for "For Sale By Owner." The term is used to identify property, usually homes, which are sold by the owner without help from a real estate agent.
